A Tip For Feeling More Empowered

The more you focus on something, the greater your awareness increases.


As Aristotle said, “We are what we repeatedly do”


If we ritualise activities, we are more likely to stick to them, for example the ritual of brushing one's teeth morning and night.



Try this exercise to develop as a ritual and help increase your sense of empowerment. At the end of each day, record 5 things from the day that have empowered you or 5 times that you were empowered (increased your sense of strength or confidence).


For example someone may give you some positive feedback, which encourages your sense of empowerment.


Make this a habit that you do at the end of each day. Regular repitition will help you to appreciate the number of times that you are empowered, and change your focus away from feeling disempowered, weak or unconfident.
